Verses on the Death of Mackensie Schronce

Mackensie Lee Schronce was his name
Doing what he could was his game.
He put his all in what he did
Up until the day he was rid.

When doing the things he loved most
He felt a need that he could boast.
Singing, laughing, joking, acting
Interests of him never lacking.

Had life, had will, had passion too
For what he had had set to do.
Nothing ever stood in his way
For all that he would do some day.

Had doubters, had nonbelievers
Even had some mocking teasers.
So he took this on as a race
To prove all wrong and win first place.

Forever, never will he cease
Goodbye Mackensie. Rest in peace.

Othello Assignment 3

1.) An idea is more powerful to me. I think an idea can be made into something a whole lot more. Jealousy, however, is more dangerous. It could hurt the person who is jealous or the person someone is jealous of. Anything could happen.

2.) Love is more powerful. Love can conquer anything. It could be the difference between life and death sometime. Lust is more dangerous because it could potentially ruin the lives of many people. Love is when you care for someone and would do anything for them. Lust is when you just want to 'hit it and quit it."

3.) They are connected. Sometimes when someone lusts for something, they act upon it and then it could lead to love. The way someone looks at someone is usually a good sign on whether they love someone or just want to be with them.
4.) Lust is more powerful and dangerous to me. Lust is when someone acts upon a strong feeling they have. Desire is when someone wants something very bad. You can tell the difference when you know someone wants something, and they decide to get it or leave it alone.

5.) I think it means to love someone carefully. It is fine to love someone, but you should be careful. Some people put all of themselves into one person when they hardly go out with them.

Othello Assignment 2

1.)I think that "Flowers in the Attic" is more tragic. Even though Othello killed Desedemona and himself, the children in "Flowers in the Attic" were suffering worse to me. I feel sorry for the kids, and I want to help them. In Othello's case, he was just a big, overreacting drama queen. I do consider both stories a tragedy, though. The major characters die in "Othello." The kids suffer all of the way through "Flowers in the Attic." In the end the mother dies. It is very depressing to know that they lost their father, their brother, and their mother because of greed. It also saddens me which is why I think it is a bigger tragedy.

2.)My favorite character was Iago because he made me laugh the most. He was talking to someone or something was going on, and he randomly looks into the camera and speaks. It may be my immaturity taking over, but it made me laugh.

3.) My favorite character in "Flowers in the Attic" was Corey. He had a cute little voice and he made me smile when he cared for his little pet. I was sad when he died.

4.) I would choose to pick a song for "Flowers in the Attic." I would choose to play "Just A Dream." That song is so sad. It might have to deal with someone lose their husband, but the children lost something too. It just feels like the right song to me.
